dont buy it from the dealership. you can get a set on ebay for $1720.00 shipped. add another grand or less for tires.

Oh, I am not getting them. I went with RonJon's on mine but that is great advice! The parts manager at the dealer informed me that he could do much better than MSRP on those rims.

This thread is a classic example of how Honda makes small miscalculations and gives up sales.

- Why not launch the at TLX with gorgeous OEM wheels
- Why not make the 19" wheel discussed here the standard wheel on Advance models?

How many incremental sales would it take to cover the incremental cost of better wheels?

I think this has been a huge mis-step for Acura the past decade or more. On the other hand, Infiniti has mostly gotten their wheel selections right. I almost believe Acura feels the design of the body doesn't need wheel "gimmicks". That arrogance thing again.

It's true, I think Acura (Honda) designs age better and provide a wonderful canvas to mod from styling wise. However, why neuter the cars with crap wheel designs out the gate?

The TLX deserved better wheels OEM.

^ The '12 TL Sh-AWD Advance came with special wheels that set it apart from all other models.

I don't know why Acura doesn't do more to set models apart but, to me, that leaves more room for personalization
