Does anyone have any pics of the 19" accessory wheel on a TLX in the wild?

^ They look really good. Acura should have those 19's standard on all TLX V6 SH-AWD Advanced models...

It's rather ridiculous the price increase to move up with these wheels/tires. The actual cost shouldn't be more than a grand total as an upgrade

^^^^^

One can always trade the OEM wheels back to the dealer, when the new car and the upgrade wheels are purchased.

Are most dealers willing to do this?

Seems like they could sell them to 4cyl buyers looking for an upgrade. Then they could take those wheels and throw them in the dumpster.

For winter tires.

With the winter coming just around the corner, most are reluctant to buy expensive 18"/19" winter tires, except smallest diameter winter tires.

Therefore, entry level rims are in big demand during the winter months, especially when the white stuff really piles up.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I remember reading the new stock width is 7.5". Are accessory wheels the exception?

Yea, you are right. All the other stock (17"/18" I4/V6) and accessory wheels are 7.5" wide and are calling for 225 width tires. I want to get these wheels with the Advance SH-AWD that I ordered, but the option seems to complicated for someone who doesn't want 2 sets of wheels and tires.

I called Acura Client Relations to see why this is not offered as a true upgrade and they are going to look into it and get back with me. Most other car manufacturers that offer an upgrade from 18" to 19" are charging around $1000. I priced it out on a BMW 335i xDrive Gran Turismo M Sport and the option was $900.

Yea, just a other way Acura is way behind the times. I priced a TLX online and the diamond cut upgrade is a few grand, do you know the offset by any chance?

Agreed. Acura should've put 18's for the 2.4 and 19's for the 3.5 in an age where a lot of luxury cars offer 19's-21's stock

Looks over ride comfort seems to be the popular choice. I would prefer the base for the V6 FWD to be 17" with the option to upgrade to 18", 19", or 20".

I can see that too. Or, base models with 17s, techs with 18s, and SH/Advance models with 19s

That would seem logical and in keeping with the wheel assignments of the 4G.

Our local dealer has four sets of the special introductory trim packages for the white or black car only. 19" wheels, skirts all way around. Rear lip spoiler. $3200 for the package here in Canada. The sales person didn't know if the buyer got to keep the old rims and tires.

You get to keep (or figure out what to do with) the original 18s. Unless you make a special arrangement, most dealers aren't offering to buy them back with an accessory wheel purchase.

I tried to negotiate selling them back to the dealer, but was only offered $500(US) for the entire set of wheels/tires from 2 different dealers. The breakdown I was offered was:
$25 per rim
$100 per tire

I decided it would be better for me to sell them on my own since the rims are worth over $500 a piece.

Hey I'm new around these forums. I've been looking around here for a couple of weeks researching the TLX. I was really interested in seen the car with 19" rims in the wild. That's when I stumbled on this this topic. I wanted to contribute some photos I found online with you all also interested in the 19"s.

Are those the RLX wheels? They look too much like the dreadful stock wheels on the Accord IMO:

I think that these gorgeous 19" diamond cut wheels really look amazing with CBP (when clean! LOL).

Has anyone seen it with SSM? Please show me a pic and make me jealous....
