My VIN fell outside the range of the above TSB, but my service manager ordered the parts anyway. When I took it in, they found the fix had not been done at the factory for my car, so completed the "fix" several weeks ago. Sadly, the noise is still there. The noise is similar to the sound of two hollow tubes knocking against each other. If you knock two empty paper towel rolls together, that's as close as I can describe the sound. I have it on video on my phone, but have yet to make it back to the dealer to present it.

My question: Has anyone else experienced this? I can't be the only one, can I?

 

I am the only one. So they created a TSB just for me......that did not resolve the issue.....hmmm....

 

i have the same issue !!

Only happens when i'm at a stop. knocking noise coming from the dash, but it's really the engine.

Happens at low RPMS
