For some odd reason when I receive a text message my TLX only announces part of the statement that appears on the screen. The car announces "Would you like to check it now?" instead of the full announcement "You have a text message. Would you like to check in now?"


Is that normal? I now know it means a text message but it seems a bid odd to me.

Same here - did you ever figure it out?

 

Unfortunately, nothing new on my end. I plan on asking about it during my first oil change. My previous Acura's never did this. Its like the front end of the announcement is clipped.

 

Have not gone into the dealer yet but I did speak with Acura Tech Support and they said it should be a full announcement prior to reading the message. Hope the dealer can fix it. Its kind of silly when the car announces "Would you like to check it now?"

 

Wait to you make a phone call. When you connect it says "Hang up".
