Monetary/Goodwill Offerings?

I received an Acura survey after taking my TLX in to see if it would be eligible for a new transmission (it was not), and one of the questions on the survey was if I was offered a monetary or goodwill compensation during the process. This question was asked during the survey after it was established that I was not happy with my Acura experience.

I have never heard of this, but was intrigued with the thought that it was actually a possibility. I obviously have severe reservations, hence me asking here. Has anyone ever heard of this from Acura, or actually been compensated in this way when they do not resolve your issue? Thanks for any feedback you can offer.

its a survey asking if you were offered... i.e. something in the past. So the answer is just yes or no. Were you offered compensation?

Are you asking if you should ask for compensation? WHy not?!?! Never hurts to ask

I plan on asking, I just wanted to see if anyone else had tried it, the approach they used, and were they successful?
