Minor build quality issues

I am pretty impressed with TLX for the money. I find the materials good but the assembly QA a little shotty. Even 55k MDX have some a panel gap issues so these are minor gripes, below is a list.

-phone tray rubber seems to bubble up, it looks flat but I can feel it is not glued down
-felt in armrest console completely loose like 22k accord
-hole in plastic near push button start, like they didn't shift the black trim far enough to left
- driver side chrome vertical trim near shifter not on nearly as well as passenger side, sticks out near top not flush
- red marker line on passenger lock when unlocked, when locked not visible
-rattle from a-pillar with less than 1k miles, probably worst issue so far because car is quiet really annoying, very random nothing to do with bumps, could be weather stripping on driver window where it hits a-pillar
- rattle from nav area, a-pillar rattle worse
- scratches on wheels, very thin minor
- floor mat anchors squeak cheaply getting out of car

A few comments

-Phone tray rubber? Your talking about the sliding part? I thought it was just 1 piece
-Felt in arm rest. Yeah it comes out, so what? I accidentally put some used gum in my center console first month of owning car and it got on the felt. Ive thought about taking one out of a loaner to replace it, so its nice that its removable.
-As far as the chrome trim inside by shifter, ill have to check mine tomorrow to see, I usually notice these kinda things
- Red marker visible when unlocked, isnt that the point? So you can visually see it if its locked or unlocked....
-Rattles: Your car should have no rattles. Bring it in and have them fix it. Yeah its annoying with how quiet the car is but you should have no rattles and your dealership should fix any they can find under warranty
-Scratches on wheels. Well, maybe those are from you, but I inspect everything including when I bought the car, if they were there at purchase you could ask for new rims

-phone tray rubber seems to bubble up, it looks flat but I can feel it is not glued down designed to be removable for cleaning
-felt in armrest console completely loose like 22k accord (armrest padding is there for padding...)
-hole in plastic near push button start, like they didn't shift the black trim far enough to left Mass production means slight misalignments, you can ask your dealer for a new trim piece but it may fit better or worse.
- driver side chrome vertical trim near shifter not on nearly as well as passenger side, sticks out near top not flush (see above)
- red marker line on passenger lock when unlocked, when locked not visible (factory crayon mark that's easily wiped away)
-rattle from a-pillar with less than 1k miles, probably worst issue so far because car is quiet really annoying, very random nothing to do with bumps, could be weather stripping on driver window where it hits a-pillar
- rattle from nav area, a-pillar rattle worse
With cars being held together with clips rather than screws it's bound to happen.
- scratches on wheels, very thin minor
probably caused by the dealer during delivery or by a car-wash as the wheels are painted with clearcoat to my knowledge.
- floor mat anchors squeak cheaply getting out of car
Make sure your mats are installed properly (can only have 1 set of mats, not both)
see bold

Build date of your car?

I have to say mine is screwed together very well. You can't make it rattle or squeak no matter what kind of road surface or bump. No other real gripes, except for the transmission shift issue, without which the car would be awesome.

Mine is put together extremely well, no misalignment, loose trim, or rattles whatsoever. That's also the first I've heard of floor mat anchors squeaking (mine are silent). Same with the phone tray rubber issue you're having, mine is flat.

You can take it to the dealer and have them fix some or all of that stuff under warranty. Sounds like you got a Friday afternoon or Monday morning car.
