Low Break Fluid Alert

Does anyone get a notification on their dash screen about low break fluid under heavy breaking? When I have to stop quickly I get alerted about low break fluid. The car has less than 10k miles.

Did you check the brake fluid level ? Maybe is very low (below minimum)and when you hard brake the liquid moves forward and the sensor kicks in because on the bottom of the tank is not much left.

I hate to be that guy, but there are now two threads on here about "breaks".

Folks ... it's brakes.

The BRAKE indicator under the speedometer (not the Collision Warning BRAKE in the center) can indicate a problem with the brake system, not just low fluid. It should be checked by the dealer.

If it's a notification , I think is a message that shows up on MID and not a light. It's like windshield fluid when is low (at least on Canadian models is mandatory)

16 months with my TLX and no heavy braking, so no message. ACC has over reacted a few time which has elicited a strange look from my wife that says "don't you know how to drive and stop smoothly".

It's not shown in the manual's list of MID messages, for the US, anyway.
