LKAS acting up

Hi guys,
I noticed sometime it took around couple minutes for the lkas to activated, even on a straight lane, great marking and all. I know the car wont do much on a sharp curve, but with a light curve, the car tend to not working properly now. When I first got the car, driven on the same road, the steering wheel took over nicely around 55-75mph. Now, its only worked under 55-65 mph, and it keep asking for user input much shorter time period than before. Driving local street with this feature on does not seem to work for me, especially during day time (tested on some street that are posted 50+ mph). Its keep turning off. This doesn't happen all the time so taking to the dealership wouldn't help. Any advice on this problem?

Thanks,
Danny

I'd suggest first looking at all the "Limitations" in the manual--environmental variables, etc. (pages 384-385 in the '15 manual) It could be that even on the same road there are differing conditions. There are also camera limitations--heat, windshield scratches, etc.,(page 351) that can affect the camera. If it's not that, there have been a very few reports of camera alignment issues. That would be a dealer call.

I do understand there are limitations of these features, and there aren't any conditions that I think would consider an issue for the lkas to not working properly during the time I'm facing with. Temperature is below 85 F, clean windshield, straight road with clear, clean markings. I guess I will make a trip to the dealer and see what they will say, even though I already know their response since the problem is not consistent lol.

There is a TSB on the camera not being mounted properly. See your dealer.

Just googled that and saw it for 2015 model. Just scheduled an appt, hoping they'll get this taken care of. Thank you all for the info.
