Keyfob Battery Dying Quickly

Hey everyone I wanted to know if anyone else has had this problem, my driver one key had the battery die so I replaced it and it lasted about two whole days and when it died again it was replaced again and it lasted about another two days. Has anyone had this type of problem?

Something is for sure wrong with it. It's discharging somewhere. Notice any excessive heat? Seems like a warranty claim to me.

You sure you have it in the right way? Have the correct replacement battery? Something is definitely wrong.

This is actually funny, so yesterday I was about to leave the house and i noticed the remote just had the green light on for some reason, I pressed the buttons and the light would not blink or anything. I don't think the batteries are dying now, it's just the remote acting up.

Bad Switch? Maybe something got messed up when you replaced the battery.

I wonder if the remote's button is stuck or something? If the green light is on, it sounds like it's being locked continuously. I'd have them get you a new remote and try it... I wouldn't accept another battery replacement.

I brought it in yesterday and they said the fob malfunctioned so they just gave me a new one. Took about an hour in service.

You have to slide out the emergency key, and pry the remote apart. Just did this a few months ago for my wife's MDX. Check out this clip.

Sometimes electronics just go tango uniform... Nice to know that the dealer took care of you quickly....

as for that video above I would definitely use plastic pry tools as those screwdrivers will definitely leave marks..
