Heater problems
Mine works ok, but I feel like I need to set the temp to 78-80 higher to get the interior how I like it instead of the 72 I've always set my other cars to.
It seems like the calibration is off to me.

I add my TLX 2015 to the list with heater problems (blowing cold air). It seems to happen just sometimes. Which makes me think it may be a software problem.
And now in January 2016 the weather is getting cold again. Acura Corp, are you reading this?

I drive a 3rd Gen TL, and also had a few issues with the heater, and it happens in manual mode (I rarely use Auto). The issue seems to be intermittent, and sometimes happens to only one side of the dual-zone system.
The temperature's been around 50-60 in the morning and evenings, and I usually have the car set to about 75, A/C off, fresh air mode. After the car warms up, sometimes the system will keep blowing cold air even if I raise the temperature to around the 80s.
Also, I've had a similar issue (same HVAC settings as above) where only one side (driver) will blow hot air, and other side (passenger) blows cold air, despite them being at the same temperature. Anyone experience this issue before?
It seems I can resolve either issue by dialing the temperature all the way up to "Hi"; even if I set it to "Hi" for just a brief moment), the system starts to blow hot. Does this work for anyone else?
I saw this thread (https://acurazine.com/forums/diy-faq...system-805682/) that seems to mention that if you set the HVAC to Lo or Hi, it "forces" the systems' valves to open. Maybe this issue has to do with the electronics or settings?

Just another Heater post
Hi, I'm one of the old posters on this issue.... Now that winter is here, it has returned.... I have noticed, I think, that when it is kinda cold (say in the mid 30s (F), cold air does come out of the vents after the set point is reached... but when it was colder (20s), it did not seem to do that.
My solution, since Acura seems to say it works fine, is to set my temp at 78 or so and drive along..... seems a bit silly as I know that should be too warm, but at least I am comfortable.... Next solution is to wait til Spring!
