Yesterday when I opened the driver's door to get out, I got an alert - a steady ding, ding, ding, that didn't stop until I closed the door. This is happening all the time now, only when the driver's door is open. I tried using my other key fob thinking it might be a low battery notification, but still got the alert. No lights are coming on anywhere. Does anyone have any idea what's causing this?

 

The only time I have heard anything similar is when the headlights were somehow switched to ON. I normally leave them on AUTO.

 

I always had the headlights on auto too, but I just checked and I must have accidentally changed the setting. That dinging was driving me crazy, thank you!
