Had the TSB 15-034 done to prevent my TLX SH AWD shifting into neutral. It also improved throttle response and eliminated harder shifts but deactivated the Auto idle stop. I like the way it drives and don't use the auto stop anyway. Service department says TSB 15 -038 will fix auto stop. Will it affect anything else Anyone had this done ?

 

The "deactivated Auto Idle Stop" is an indication that the update was not applied correctly. Happened to me as well, but I took the car back the next day. They re-did the process and everything is working fine now. Doing TSB 15-038 "correctly" will fix things, but would not have been needed of 034 had been done correctly in the first place. Both TSBs effect the same subsystems.

Others have reported that Auto Idle Stop will eventually come back "magically".

 

Any change in throttle response when applying full throttle to pass and downshifting multiple gears, especially rom slower speeds?

 

Slight delay but then it downshifts and takes off. Much improved throttle response overall

 

Well I guess my dealer doesn't think anything was done I correctly so I don't know if I want anything am else done right now as the car is fine except for the Idle stop.

 

And like magic this morning without doing any further updates the auto idle stop is now working. I hope the other improvement in the car remain. Time will tell
