air blower blowing wrong spot?

Hi guys,
When I have my air on, ac or heater, I usually have it point down to my feet. I used the 3rd icon from the left, which is just the single arrow pointing down my feet. Up until last night, I have never hear any noises up in the windshield around, mainly by the center speaker when I selected that mode. Last night, while driving with the heater on, I started to hear noises coming from the center speaker area, and this is during the fan was already one for a good 5-10 minutes. Maybe this is just me, but would anyone please confirm this is normal?

Thanks all,
Danny

That hissing noise from the windshield vents are normal. I too, was caught off guard by the amount of noise. Of course the first thing I did was Google the 'problem' and found out it is normal.

oh? I must be deaf most the time then. I normally don't hear the hissing noise if I select it to point down to my feet only hahaha. Thanks ZipSpeed.

I normally don't hear it either as my music is usually loud enough to drown out pretty much everything.
