Traded in my '09 SH-AWD for a '15 TLX SH-AWD
I went in for a routine oil change today and walked out with a TLX. Test drove the AWD and non AWD and kinda fell in love with the AWD lol. Pics are here. Really wanted a BWP with espresso interior, they only had that in non AWD form. They had espresso with the black exterior but i didn't like the black too much...So i opted for a BWP with Ebony interior.
Pics are here. I must say I didn't know what to expect given the complaints of the transmission shifting harshly. My car doesn't shift harshly, but it has that typical "honda" shift.

Thanks man, i had 74k miles on the TL. It was a CPO with 33k miles on it. They made me a great offer, and even threw in automatic start. I always service my TL at Rallye Acura so I guess they took that into consideration.

That's a nice color combo. White ext and black int. Congrats!
I was thinking if i buy a TLX, i would go black with black, but recently I'm starting to really like the white color!
And how did you get them to add remote start?

Thanks everyone. I really appreciate this car the more I drive it. I really love the white color. It wasn't a deal breaker. I'm glad I got the ebony interior. The contrast is nice.

I was able to get remote start added because I told them I wouldn't take the car without it. My 4g had it dealer installed and I wouldn't part with it. Lol I look at it as a freebie. A really useful freebie with the crazy winters we have in NY.

Welcome to the TLX fam. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I love my Black, but that white is a gorgeous color too. Glad you're enjoying your car so far, mine doesn't exhibit any of the "issue" with the transmission either so I'm hoping Acura can "resolve" any of the problems others do have.
I, like you, won't have another car that doesn't have remote start, or at least the option to do so. I've become spoiled with all the goodies on modern cars, and the winter options are a must now.

Thanks guys. There are some things I miss from my 4g, but overall this car is much better. Haven't had a chance to open it up or anything as it still has under 100 miles on it, but i could already tell this car is powerful. It gets up to highway speeds without even trying.

Having to wait a week to have the right combo would be like having to wait for a mail order package .

Thanks man. Like I said previously it wasn't a deal breaker. It came down to those two colors. At the time i really wanted espresso for the interior but now I'm happy i've gone with black. I actually appreciate the black and white contrast much more.

Thanks man! Here are some night shots. I've driven in Normal mode mostly, today I selected Sport. Feels great, quick and nimble. With the SH-AWD even at low speed i can feel the rear wheels assisting me with simple turns around the block, which wasn't the case with the 4g. Seems like you don't have to "push" it into corners as much to feel the effects of the torque vectoring.
