^^ Let me be the first to compliment you on the lower ride! You did it just right...not too much but enough to make the stance a bit more aggressive and planted.
Good job my friend!

Thank you! The offset on the Legacy's really look better now.
RS+R springs. The same ones we've been talking about over in the TLX Suspension forum and thank you!
You mean you wouldn't otherwise? Thanks!

Thank you! It was a hell of a project, it gave this old man a good workout, mentally and physically. I can say that I did it myself (with the help of a very nice and thourough DIY), by gawd!!
Well, it's hard to say if it's different just yet. I know it's probably a placebo effect but it feels more planted and agile.. not that I have been able to really test it. I will let you know

How did your alignment come out? Particiularly the rear?

I haven't done an alignment yet. From what others have reported, these springs keep the specs within tolerances. I will still have it checked when I get the chance.
19" x 8 with a +38 offset. I found the offset info via a google search since RonJon doesn't list the info on the website so I am not sure of the accuracy.
At least you give a lot of men the benefit of the doubt!

Thank you! Your DIY was such a HUGE help. I printed out the whole thing to use as I went along. I did find that an 18mm socket was needed for a few of the nuts/bolts.
I wished I had a lift to do the job but proved that the job can be done with a floor jack with jack stands.

congrats ! looks great !!!
This is the exact set up i've been wanting.. Mild drop, nice semi aggressive/conservative rim size.
How's the ride ?? that's my main concern about getting springs. I dont want to lose the smooth ride quality.

Very very nice, your BCP looks gorgeous. How much was it to lower it. You have a very good taste. Did you sell the original rims?
now did you know apple has this thing called Ipod and holds over 1000s of songs, where you dont have to shuffle between CDs kidding!

Ipod? Is that a coffin like thing? Can I live in it? LOL, j/k! I have an iPod in my car too. For some reason, I really like hearing different song parts in the different speakers (surround sound) which DTS-CDs do very well. If the head unit could read 6 channel wav files.. I might use that on a thumb drive!
BCP is a very different color combo, to be sure. Thank you!

Thanks! These ar 19" x 8". I am glad I went with 19's. The ride is a bit stiffer than stock on these springs.
If you have a air compressor, impact wrench, the right tools (all the special ones: a good spring compressor, tie rod and ball joint fork, etc) and patience.. it really can be done!

^^ So was your alignment really 'off' or just slightly?
Looking at your TLX from farther back like that also shows the great styling cues of the TLX. Design-wise, Acura has done a nice job with this car. I think this will age very well, as with most Acura designs actually.

The picture is very legible actually....Although the numbers weren't off in a drastic way, you did the right thing by having done. It doesn't take long to do some damage to the tires.
