New Build 2015 TLX

It was a special request, Jon...they had to make sure you didn't like SOMETHING about them!
Seriously though...Acura of PP is the ONLY place I trust to balance my wheels...I can't tell you the fkng headache and ordeal I went on with my old wheels and vibrations and thinking they were bent...took them here...and for the same price as what you pay elsewhere for mount/balance...they rode smooth. I honestly don't question them, they calibrate the machine once a week, if not more to ensure it's perfectly smooth so if that state it needed the weight on the outer area, I'm sure that's why they put it there.

Hahaha. Oh no worries you guys nailed that request with the brand choice.
I was genuinely curious though. I don't know the first thing when it comes to wheel balancing and mounting. It just caught my eye that the weights were noticeable. But yeah I guess it was a dumb question since of course they are there for a reason. Just not seen that before on aftermarket wheels.

Three Wheelin'
I was pretty much in the same situation with '06 Tl and had been looking around for about 3 years and had been actively waiting for two small CUV to come to NA, but I was disappointed with features and potential price. I received a promotion letter on Wednesday about the TLX (had not heard about it before), and placed an order three days later.
Still love the 3G, which could have continued running well for many more years, but the TLX is wonderful and puts a smile on my face. If you risk taking a test drive be prepared that there is no turning back.

Chan_Mike,
Hope you don't mind if I did this, but I'll ask a mod to delete it if you want. Just wanted to share this photoshop of one of your pics. I wanted to see what the grille would look like blacked out or color matched. Also wanted to see what it looked like with some Vossen VVSCV7's.

TLX definitely proving its worth. Although I don't love the dual screens in the interior, I really love everything else I see, especially with that color combo: the mats, the umber, and the carbon fiber. IMO, the TLX is a perfect combo of both TL and TSX interiors.
That being said I hate to be that guy but I'm disappointed that Acura imitated the IS 250/350 in the rear... looks WAAYYYY to similar, especially to the latest gen IS's

Thank you for doing this. It came out awesome. It definitely gives me a whole perspective with other wheels and grills option. Will certainly forward these awesome photos to our friends at Vossen also.

Fantastic photoshop!
weather...that was pretty damned clever, with the $120 thing. I see what you did there
Richie/Mike...I'm really excited to know that you're on board with getting this going...it's gonna be great to be able to offer a performance upgrade to the enthusiast community so quickly! Do you know if the Jpipe similar (well, more like an L pipe now) to the accord too?
I'd love to see another x merge true dual option from RV6 that somehow could be made to make a center exit...OR, I wonder if you could come up with a dual quad set up to come out UNDER the bumper (no more bumper opening limitations)...would just have to weld on a much longer hanger to use stock hanger point and sit the muffler low enough...a$$ of car might still be high enough to accomodate it. Another alternative is that there is a part of the lower bumper on the inside with a shaped insert directly behind the muffler...if someone could create some sort of carbon fiber finished look insert, it would be as simple as people taking a dremel from the inside, cutting it out and sliding the insert into place...then mounting the exhaust. That actually might be the most viable and easiest route rather than custom body work on every single one.
Just thinking out loud there...
Thanks Tyler

Andy, if that's an option...you could stand to make a lucrative profit off of that...every enthusiasts complaint is that there is no real exhaust...it wouldn't be hard to have those CNC'd tips popped in and have an exhaust shop route the muffler to it...OR even better...source them directly to Richie for his future exhaust project

I was looking at this car last night before bed...I'm honestly surprised I didn't have a wet dream about it. It looks amazing and it's nice to see the potential of the TLX unleashed! I swear this setup should be a dealer option!

Can't get enough of this "eye candy" TLX It looks absolutely stunning...
The OEM body kit makes any Acura/Honda look 10X better IMHO. I would love to see a Special Edition TLX at some point that is similar to the Special Edition TSX that comes standard with the OEM body kit, upgraded wheels, red footwell lighting, red stitching, and suede seats.
