New Build 2015 TLX

I like the carbon fiber replacement/overlay for the front chrome nose with Acura logo, but am concerned about keeping it clean as I use waterless products to clean the car rather than with a water jet.

I totally agree that the interior carbon fibre trim looks AMAZING! I wished that Acura would have used something like this rather than that wood thing.... or at least offer it as an option, right!?

^^ Exactly.

Coming along nicely!
As far as the body kit goes, I love it. However, there is no question that the rear end needs exhaust tips, especially with the kit. I really hope Acura/aftermarket does something about that.

Coming along great! I live about 5 minutes from the dealership. I'm assuming this is going right into the showroom once complete? The carbon fiber looks great along with the body kits!

Wow this looks great. I know I already made a suggestion about cutting out places for using 05-08 RL or S2000 exhausts but you should also file the edge of the lip kits down so they look more integrated into the bumper for a cleaner look. Also, why not do a 6-speed manual swap? Lol
Do you know if RV6 J pipe fits? What about 3.7 intake manifold? That may change the power band though since this j is direct injected and likely has a tuned 3.5 intake manifold vs the regular/ older 3.5s

Thanks everyone for all the feedback and comments. This really help us to set our direction with this build. Since this is a complete new vehicle, there are many bumps and obstacles we are facing right now, in terms of part and fitment goes.
As for the carbon interior trim, it was just an ideas that my team comes up with. I am glad that many of you like the wood to carbon look idea. Believe it or not, it really does looks a lot better in person. We parthered with one of the best local wrap company to work on our interior trims, and the end result is amazing. Anyone has an Instagram account, go check out @RodWraps. They have done some crazy and top notch work. In the near future, I can put a post a step-by-step how to remove the interior and wood trims from the TLXs. I can tell you this, it is going to be quite long. It is a pretty big job.
One of the main reason for this project is really for us to express and to capture some of the true Acura/Honda believer/enthusiast back into our brand. I believe that TLXs will be the "Game Changer" for the Acura brand and we are so excited to put out this cool project so some of us can see the protential from a TLX. As most of you already know, I do worked at an Acura dealership. I do understand that there are many bad or possible horrify stories out there about Acura dealership experience. I am sure there are some of you that don't even like the word "dealership". I understand why and I am not here to defend anyone or any dealership. All I can try to do here is to help out the Acura's community and some of these cool aftermarket companies.
I apologize for my long story.

I can attest to the fact that I've had nothing but excellent experiences at this dealership since I started going there. From the sales floor to parts to service to the actual techs working there...it's always been a pleasant experience and in a lot of cases I've ended up making friends with a similar obsession with cars.
Nobody is in business to not make a profit...everyone gets a slice of the pie, once you understand and embrace that, I think more people could have great experiences and relationships with dealerships.
Keep on truckin, Mike. You're doing a great job, man.

We finally mounted the wheels and tires. 20" Vossen Vfs2 with Silver Polish finish. What y'all think?

I am a casual driver and not into heavy customization, but I think the car sits too low on those wheels, especially the front. I like symmetry and would prefer to see the gap around the wheel be the same on the top as the sides.
Other than that the wheels and body kit look good in that color.

Given the suspension isn't in yet, I'm going to guess that the wheels are mounted and there is no suspension and they just lowered the lift onto blocks to give you an idea of the stance it could had. Don't be surprised if the actual drop is about an inch higher up.

In regards to the car in this thread - I'll admit I'm not a big fan of the body kit in general, but I do like the fact that you're going all out on this car - kit, rims, carbon fiber interior, etc. Not crazy about the rims though, a bit too much for my taste. However, its always cool to see these in depth projects take shape.
Nice job!

You are welcome to see this vehicle in person. Just DM me a time and date and I will arrange it for you to see the car, specially you only 5 mins away.

Well, we are actually not selling this vehicle, not a least for a year. This vehicle is really for fun and along with a bit of promotional and marketing use only. It might sits in the showroom but this vehicle intends to attend most carshow and car meet once it is completed. We need a South Florida AcuraZine meet soon so some of us can see this car in person.

I pressed my face on the glass of a TLX at the local dealership last night and did not notice the floormats looking like that. Is this some sort of camera trick that makes them look like that or is that how they come? If so, damn!, those are some high-end looking floormats!
