Awesome. I'm scanning through the threads on the ASpec TLX because I am convinced that it will be my next car. This is the exact color and look I want when I get there. I would have liked if they had increased the power plant in the ASpec model but I guess I will need to keep waiting for that to happen.
What are your thoughts on the power and handling?

You should invest in some equipment (about $1500 I think) and wrap the splitter kit in real carbon fibre. Fuck, it would make your car an instant 11.5/10. Right now its only a lowly 9.9/10

honestly after a few months now of driving it, I absolutely hate the power and handling. I'm already shopping for a replacement. I went test driving a Nissan GTR and a Dodge Hellcat yesterday and I am working out some deals with them to see what I will buy to replace this car.
since lowering this car so low, all handing has gone out the window. it drives like shit. you feel every little bump and crack in the road, and because of the camber I am getting bump steer over bumps or grooves in the road. passing people from a low speed while speeding up jerks the steering wheel and it wants to swerve. I love the look of this car, which is why I would never be happy driving this thing in stock configuration but I am convinced it should not be modified. another thing about this car Is that its a complete rattle box. the dash rattles non-stop, the center speaker rattles at low volume, the rear deck rattles super loud over every little bump..Im super over it.
I definitely would never spend that kind of money on this car. I'm actually not a big fan of carbon fiber.

I've never lowered any car I've owned, and your explanation is the reason. The look is fantastic...but at the detriment of ride quality.
I was wondering why you were hardly posting about your build lately. Also, it's too bad about all the rattles. Do you think is symptomatic of lowering it, or just bad build quality? I have no rattle issues with my 2018, not even driving over rough pavement.
All my issues with my TLX are technology driven (e.g., number of usb ports, double screen operation, voice-control operations, etc.).
Thanks for giving me the opportunity to see some cool upgrades, and good luck with new car search.

Wow! Your experience with your TLX went downhill quickly.

edit: I spoke to my friend Nicole..she drives the car in Florida that is identical to mine...she agreed her car rides like shit at the sacrifice of looking sexy. im not willing to suck It up at this point

Your car is pretty slammed. It's to be expected. Any car lowered like that will have adverse handling- it's not the TLX itself. You can raise it an inch, still look great, and not hate your life so much. Rattles are a direct result of stiffening the suspension. It's unavoidable. You may just have a random rattle here or there, but the stiff suspension makes shit so much worse.
I too am not a fan of swapping suspension to be honest. It always comes at a compromise. Looks vs functionality. Choose one.

That was a surprising twist, But I get what you are saying, Its dreadful to have a Beautiful Looking car but the Ride Feels horrible. Hope You find your fix in this situation even if it means upgrading to the GTR.

You're paying for those big brakes in one way or another

I hear you. I loved manual transmissions when I was younger. Now, I'll only buy a car with an auto trans because I hate shifting gears in traffic.

"Lifewithvickyntony" Nicole, right? That's hilarious because she told someone on instagram that she won't modify her exhaust further because her kids won't want to ride in it. I guess her kids are loud noise adverse, but don't mind a crappy ride.
