Missing Maintenance Info setting in menu

Hello...and thanks in advance for any help. I have a 2015 TLX v6. I recently changed oil at independent garage (i.e. not dealer!) and wanted to reset my oil life indicator/maintenance minder. I went under "Vehicle Settings" to look for "Maintenance Info" to do the reset but it was MISSING!! I followed these directions:
  • Turn the ignition key to position “ON” without starting the engine, If your Acura TLX has Smart key button, press the “Start” button twice without touching the brake pedal.
  • Press the Settings buttons located on the audio/information screen
  • Select the “Vehicle Settings”, and then press the Enter button
  • Scroll down and select “Maintenance Info”
  • Next, select “Reset” and then press the ENTER button
  • Confirm the question by select Reset again and press Enter button
  • Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset
Of note that the car is in Latin America and was never sold in USA market. Is it possible for dealer to "lock" this setting thus forcing one to go to dealer for oil change? There is no dealer near me so really can't go anyhow. Called Acura USA and they said call a dealer. Called a dealer in Dallas and they had no idea. Any ideas here? Thanks!

  1. Set power mode to ON
  2. Go to the maintenance information group
  3. Push the right selector wheel on steering wheel. The oil life reset mode is displayed on the multi-information display
  4. Select “Reset” with the right selector wheel, then push the right selector wheel to confirm
  5. The displayed maintenance items disappear and the engine oil life display returns to “100%”

Thanks...but there is no Maintenance Info group anywhere to be found. Another idea?

Thanks for the videos. As I originally stated, the "Maintenance Info" sub-menu is NOT PRESENT in the Vehicle Settings menu. Not sure if it makes a difference, but when I changed the oil there was no reminder lit up for any maintenance. I just bought car and checked oil which seemed dirty so I went ahead and changed the oil. Car is not-USA market as speedo is in KM...Latin America market. I'm thinking that perhaps the dealers here can "lock" that setting so it can only be reset by them. I did call Acura USA who said call a dealer. One dealer in Dallas repeated what everyone here has said/shown. I am nowhere near a dealer so can't take it locally.

I'm stumped! Might also add there is no way to see anything about oil life remaining either in the menus. Thinking that the set-up on this non-USA car may be different and the Maintenance Info sub-menu that you all have is just not available on my model.

Anyone else with thoughts? Thanks....
