How to adjust volume of driving directions?

Not an easy task. What you do is adjust the radio volume while the nav system is speaking its directions. But you have to get it WHILE it is speaking otherwise it just adjusts the radio volume. You can also go to the menu system and adjust it, but there is no feedback, so you are just guessing what the volume level should be.
