For the life of me, I can't figure out how the TLX is sorting the folders on a USB stick! The folder structure is there, it's just mangled. I tried making Genre folders with Artist then Album subfolders. That clearly failed.

Does anyone know how it works? I tried searching but I could only find info on the previous generation TL systems. Once I understand it properly, I can do this correctly.

 

It reads them exactly as they are laid out on th USB drive's file system table. There is some software out there that will resort them on the USB drive so that you will see them alphabetically. I would have thought they would have implemented something in the head unit by now. Google is your friend, I don't recall what I used to use, but here is one

Thanks Keith, I didn't know that's the reason it was like that. I just tried it this morning and using a file sorter fixed it all! Acura needs to fire whoever wrote the software for this thing.
