2016 TLX AWD

Hello, can anyone tell me how to clear and reset the audio system? I have added my CD music to hard drive, but previous owner had some terrible music, and I can't get rid of it. The only way the list will play is all the way through, alphabetically. I have looked through the manual and I do not see any way to delete items, or just delete it all, start over, clean slate. I have already had the battery out a couple times.
any ideas? thanks

 

"Looked through the Manual"... If the manual that you're referring to is the main manual, then you may be looking at the wrong manual. The HDD info resides in the Navigation manual, which is a separate manual for almost every Acura that I know of. If this is the case for your car (most likely) then perhaps one of the Contributors can provide the relevant info.

looks like i have all my documentation as new and intact, but there is no seperate manual for the HDD. Just a brief section in the owners....

 

ok, no documentation of this that i can find, but if anyone is interested, i have it figured out.

go into the audio system, then hit "info" and see the the sub menu. there is one labeled HDD. from that, there is an option to "clear HDD." hit that, then it will warn you: "this will permanently delete all data from the drive, do you wish to proceed?" hit Yes. leave it running for two minutes while it deletes. it will be wiped as clean as a hillary clinton server.
