Bluetooth lag with track switching?

So, just got my 2016 TLX with ELS less than a week ago. (Dunno if this info matters, maybe new firmware revisions recently?)

Anyways, even while test driving the ILX with ELS and TLX, both had a 2 second lag when I switched tracks or did anything on my phone connected via bluetooth. Whether I changed track, changed phone volume, changed phone EQ settings, watching shows, every kind of interaction has a 2 second delay. Is this normal? I've went through all 6 pages on this TLX subforum and no topics mention it. Perhaps my note 4 is the culprit?

It's normal for Bluetooth. It's a pain but I've gotten used to it...for the most part.

Friend mentioned that the MDX had some update that fixed the problem? If that's true hopefully one day we will get it too. Just kind of a shame my 300 dollar pioneer head unit had lagless Bluetooth.

If there is then I'm unaware but I hope we do get it! I think the system was designed to have the delay.. I could be wrong though.

Oh? So when you hit next track on your head unit or on your phone, it immediately switches track without a 2 second delay? Odd that it only affects your video. What phone do you have?

Fix the bluetooth lag

If you have an Acura call In-Car Tech Support Team at 888-528-7876 and report the bluetooth lag problems with your vehicle. The more reports they receive the higher the chance of actually getting this fixed.
