So, am I right in assuming that the Navigation system will NOT pull addresses from my iphone? The "Address Book" is the addresses that you manually enter into the system? I'm supposed to manually input the address then save it to the Nav system address book?

WTF? Why will it import the phone book contents for the phone fuction but not port the addresses over to the Nav?

 

You are correct afaik. Does any in car navi system manage this trick? I would have thought the scope for error would be too large. Field matching would be very tough. In Canada a postal code recognizer would get you pretty close - this system having way higher resolution than US zip codes.

One of my customers was cursing the Honda Navi systems limitations. But at the end of his rant he said his BMWs was even worse.

 

My 2012 BMX 528i did. Too bad the rest of the car was crap.
