I drill 3 holes in the fire wall to run the amp power cable and no luck???

Can someone with aftermarket amp take a picture of where the hole is drill?
I will use the picture as a reference and I'm sure that the rest of the forum will like to know.

I'm trying under the driver side but I keep striking out.

But for real, there is no nipple or precut hole on the passenger side?

I drill 3 holes on the DS between the steering and the pedals, I can feed the cable but doesn't come out the other side, feels like it's going inside something else. It's a lot of components on that side.

 

Yeah man, that sounds a little risky. Sounds like you need an extra set of hands

 

try to find something on the firewall that you can piggy back on

 

there should be a few empty grommets on the firewall for you to use. If you are creating holes, why not fish the wire though using a coat hanger or something small and rigid so you get through the whole mass?

why drill? you can pop out the grommet for the hood cable and run it next to it. just put a new grommet in place so that the wire doesn't cut on the bare metal.
