Worn Steering wheel issue

Hey All,
Just brought home a 2018 TLX 3.5. Man, they are giving these things away after the new 2021 redesign!
Anyway, check out the wearing on the steering wheel. Any ideas on how to treat/revive? Is it a dye issue?
Thanks in advance

Had a 2018 that was 3.5 years old. Don't think there is anything that will help that out other than replacement. Crazy wear on that wheel.
