Why the TLX is a great car.

- No magazine has come out with a comparison test.
- It virtually disappeared from the autonews.
- Jalopnick hasnt write two words about the TLX. Alas , dedicated some articles predicting the debacle of Acura when the model was a prototype.

How could they test a car that was not available?

August 9th - http://www.usatoday.com/story/money/...rive/13741917/

August 25th - http://www.thecarconnection.com/overview/acura_tlx_2015

A bunch more before August 9th, but you might not find them because they have disappeared from the internets (sarcasm font)

They disappeared because Honda had an embargo on releasing them that a few publications violated so Honda yanked them up short & had them pull them.

Typical compare takes time to set up & the car has only just been released. Also expect that they would want anyone they are to compare it against would also have their 2015's available.

The C&D Lightning Lap results will be out in the Oct issue & hope the TLX made the cut to get into the test.

The Jalopnik part is hilarious, they kept saying how Acura is going to shit and how the TLX sucks yadda yadda yadda.

It's not perfect; but it shut Jalopnik up :P

Edmunds, Motor Trend have done reviews. Generally, the car has decent press so far.

I just still would like one of the 2 mentioned above to do an actual comparison to other cars the TLX is targetting as its competition. (IS, ES, Q50, C-Class, 3series, A3/A4....etc.) Have not seen a really good comparison report/article yet, other than just the reviews of the TLX by itself.

Give it time would be my only two cents...the car's still fairly new. I'd say in the next couple of months you'll see something.

Theres just ONE RLX comparisons test and it was in Motor Trend, and it was VS a Cadillac,
and for sure the RLX won. Remember the ILX ?? it was everywhere , just to reveal all the shortcomings.
