WeatherTech DigitalFit FloorLiners
Just thought I'd post a little FYI on these, as I received my order from WeatherTech yesterday. Never ordered anything from WeatherTech before, but heard a lot of good things from people who had. With the winter months just around the corner, I figured why not try it.
You can see what they're all about at the link below. They only make a set for the front as of now. I'm assuming availability for the rear is forthcoming.

While the jury's still out on how they're going to hold up to wear and tear over time, I can't see any reason why they won't be up to the challenge. The first thing I noticed upon unwrapping them was that they're made of some seemingly sturdy material, but are really no thicker than the stock carpet mats (which have since been relegated to my trunk). As for the install, this was of course my biggest pre-purchase apprehension. The last thing I wanted was something that "fit", but had bulges and gaps where things didn't quite line up. Such an annoyance. But seriously, things couldn't have been more seamless. They slid right into the footwell and lined up to a tee with the existing mat tie-downs. In other words, a perfect fit. The other apprehension I had before buying was that they appeared to have the potential to be very slippery under your feet while driving. Nope... it's totally non-skid. The gray color option I ordered also matches almost exactly with my graystone interior.
Anyway, just thought I'd share in case any one was considering these for their own TLX. So far, they're definitely worth the $130 (inc. shipping) I paid.

The only issue I have with the ones I got for the TL a long time ago is the label fell off. I glued it back on once, twice and that was it. I gave up. Other than that they are perfect. No salt on the carpets in the winter up here in the north. Once every 3-4 months I armorol them and they shine back to original.
I am happy to see it didn't take them too long to make one for the TLX. Question is, do they distinguish between the SHAWD and the PAWS versions? I would guess the SHAWD has a taller middle section in the rear because of the prop shaft underneath?

They aren't showing anything for shawd yet... I have requested that through their product request page and urge you shawd owners to.
They are far better then the flat rubber mats, because while those protect against dirt etc, dirty salty meltwater over flows and soaks the carpet underneath.
The weather tech mats I had stood up to 4 yrs in my tl...

Have had them in my cars including my 2006 TL & they very good products. FWIW they produce the BMW USA among others factory accessory units.
I bought mine direct from WT at a big cost savings.

I wouldn't recommend any other brand... youll have the ones in the rear in no time... I go on backpacking trips and never have the slightest worry when i come back with mud all over my boots... keeps the dirt well contained and cleaning is super simple... grab a rag and a hose and rinse and repeat.

I actually still have a set of front Weathertech mats (not the liners) that I bought back in 2002, and used in various cars until recently because they still fit. There is not a chance anyone who saw them would think they had more than 1 or 2 seasons or use.
As was mentioned, they made the factory mats for my 5 series as well, and I gave them away after 5 yrs of winter use in lighty used condition. (there was no wear, but I had a light grey interior, and the mats had mild staining in the heel area.)
They held up just fine, and did a great job of holding in dirt, and slush. If I didn't get a set of factory winter mats thrown in, I would have definitely gone that route again for the TLX. They make great products.

Have used Weathertech mats on my last three cars and loved 'em. However, part of the little negotiating my dealer would engage in involved accessories and I ended up getting Acura all weather mats and trunk liner. I hope they work well but if they don't I'll buy another Weathertech set and be done with it.

Just purchased the Acura mats and was told they were made by weather tech. They are done in a nice rubber vs. the weather tech I had on my 06 TL. They are also melded like the weather tech but don't go as high. All in all, since I have the AWD and the weather tech is not available yet, the Acura ones are really nice...

I buy WeatherTech mats for my cars. I only use the driver's side since I am the only person in the car 95% of the time. I don't like the liners as much and don't really need them here where I live.. The plastic coating is too slippery for me. I had them in my truck and replaced them because of that.

As for my order, their shipping time was top notch. IIRC, I placed the order on a Wednesday, and they were on my doorstep and in my car within a week. Shipping cost was in the $20 range, probably due to the larger package size.

Thanks! and just fyi for anyone else, i called weathertech, they said that they do need to know if the car is FWD vs AWD so i'm assuming they are different. AWD is not available yet, she didnt have a date of expected production either.

I did purchased the acura ones for my TLX AWD and it was mentioned on the invoice AWD... They are different. They are very nice and better quality than the weather tech I had in my TL. They are also moulded and are covering higher than the normal mats. Only issue is they are in 2 pieces in the back and don't cover the carpet over the tunnel...

Driver side. WT mat is doing it's job against the nasty salt and chemicals they treat the roads with around here.
Driver side - closer look to show fit in foot well

That's because the factory all-weather mats just cover the floor area. As you'll see in the pictures above, the WT liners cover more of the foot well area (sides, corners, etc.), not just the floor. Between the FWD and AWD versions, the floorspace is likely the same (or close enough to it) but the foot well design as a whole is very different between the two. This is especially important with the yet to be released rear row liner inserts which (I believe) are typically a one-piece deal.

Acura TLX 2.4 Tech 9-2014
I have the Acura versions and they seem very sturdy, so no complaints there, plus they were included in my purchase for free :-) so you cannot beat that. The only thing I purchased was the rear trunk liner, which are also Acura but I bought them through one of the many Acura parts places which sell them for cheaper then the dealership. The trunk liner is actually made up of 3 pieces, whereas I thought it was a 1 piece set. They seem less sturdy cheaper design then the floor mats but they will also see less beating.

Just placed my order for weather tech coasters. Don't really need the actual mats but I don't want to feel left out of the conversation.

After owning Weathertech's and Husky's with my TL and Prius (respectively, and with the front passenger, rear passenger, and cargo liners), I have absolutely no interest in the Acura accessories floormats. The aftermarket ones fit perfectly, have much higher lips for hold in the moisture, are much thicker, and are much less obvious when it comes to cost cutting.
The days of automatically assuming that Honda OEM meant higher quality are long gone.

I will order the Weather Tech matts. However, I think the Acura All Season mats that came with my car are a cut above any others I have owned. They are thicker, flexible, and have side pieces that cover well. For now, I cut out a piece from an old winter mat and slid it under the Acura mat under the gas pedal. Although the Weather Tech mats are somewhat stiff, they will provide better coverage. Besides, who wouldn't want 3 sets of mats.

I got my Weathertech floor liners for the SH-AWD... Here is what the drivers side looks like:
The only thing that would make them perfect would be if the left side was a couple inches higher to completely cover the foot rest, but I am very happy with them.

I also have the front weathertech floorliners for my TLX AH-AWD, but would like to get the rear floorliners too which are not yet available. I wonder if anyone knows when we'll be able to get them?

I switched my 4G TL SH-AWD for the TLX last week. I had weather tech on the TL and kept them. As of now, I have the rear in my TLX. The floor mats fit, the only difference is that the middle hump of the TLX is about half the height of the previous TL. So that part of the mat is higher but it doesn't really matter to me. My kids sit on each side and I prefer to have the carpet protected properly.
I should try to see if the front set fits but I already have the TLX set on order. Hope it arrives soon!

I ordered the front mats in Canada for the SHAWD on December 20th. Ordered mats for my wife's 2015 Mazda the same day. The Mazda mats arrived on December 24th and the TLX mats are still on backorder. I am told they will ship within the week but I was told the same thing two weeks ago. By the time I get them, the winter may be over.
