Trunk Size- Will it fit golf clubs?

Is there anyone among the owners of the new TLX a golfer? I test drove one but I didn't have my clubs with me to check the trunk size. I'm sure one set will fit as it fits in my current 05 TL. Will it fit 3 sets if I'm taking a couple of buddies with me to the golf course?

Yes a full set will fit. I tuck my Clicgear push cart towards the rear seats and fit the bag no problem.

I have an 06 and now have the Tlx. The tlx has a slightly wider trunk, on the tl I would have to pull out the driver and just lay it on top of the bags, but fits fine int the Tlx with the driver in the bag. I have had two bags in it, but haven't tried 3, but can't see that being a problem, just have to lay then diagonal.

Interesting. I put my push cart against the back seats and lay my golf bag horizontally in the trunk of my 07 TLS. Should be no problem with the TLX.

Easily, right across the back, and no issue in or out. Perfect trunk for them.

If the driver's in the bag, how does he see? Much less steer, work the pedals...

C'mon, you HAD to see that coming.

My G35 coupe was able to fit them in the trunk. While I don't own the TLX, but I don't see why it cannot. =)

Hang on now. We haven't seen the SHAWD trim trunk space yet. Maybe the rear diff will limit some of the huge space the PAWS trim has..., even though its reported that the new diff is smaller than the outgoing TL's diff size.

Fits with ease

Clic gear 3.0 push cart up against the back seat with full cart bag laid horizontal inclusive of drivers and woods sticking way out. Room to spare. Don't even have to "tilt" your bag out, can lift it straight out.

I was able to fit 3 golf bags in my 2012 TL trunk . Read TLX has a whole new SH-AWD system for this model and is lighter and more compact to allow a flatter trunk. Can anyone confirm this?

There is no difference. The rear diff doesn't affect trunk space.
