TLX Availability by Christmas
TLX Availability by Christmas
First post so don't beat me up too badly
. Some of you appear quite knowledgeable about Acura policies/procedures, so I'm soliciting opinions on the availability/price of the TLX in about four months (say by Christmas). Specifically, will the I4 Tech be readily available in most of the color/interior choices? And by then will the dealers discount from MSRP by a couple of thousand dollars?
We like small luxury sedans with some sport thrown in. Currently have a 2010 Lexus IS250 and a 2014 Cadillac ATS 2.0T. I'm curious about the above items in order to do some financial planning and to prepare for selling the IS250 at my own pace.
Any help would be appreciated.

It is all a matter of supply and demand. If it is selling like hot cakes then availability will be limited and little discounts. If sales are reasonable and there is a good supply then some discounts should be expected.
I think it will be a good seller but there is a lot of competition so who knows. A couple of thousand off on an I4 may be asking a lot.

At year's end, I would suspect they would be selling them for invoice to bump up the year end numbers- I wouldn't expect much under that. It might be reasonable to get a demo car with the features you want- they would likely discount a demo pretty well, unless you want to put the first few miles on the car.
