What kinda night illumination difference do you see with the LED beams versus the standard HIDs that all Acuras have used previously? Noticeable difference? What major things change

 

I think the brightness is the same or possibly better as compared to the HID output from my 2012 TSX. The margin of the beam projection (if that makes sense) may not be as well delineated as it was on the TSX but this does't really matter to me.

 

From what I remember in my test drive, there was a lot of light put on the ground, and it was a much whiter beam. Which is to be expected from LED headlights. I really liked the effect they had on reflective objects. It was a big difference from mine, which are 8 years old and not as bright as when new. The good thing about LEDs is that it takes a looong time for them to become noticeably dimmer (~30000 hours, compared to a lifetime of 3000-5000 hours for HIDs), so that's a big plus. I'm interested to see how these compare with Osram CBIs.
