I have a 2020 TLX I4 Tech. Bought it a few months back and realized that the sunroof will not open. The motor works but that's it. Got the headliner off and tried to operate the sunroof. There is cable on the passenger side and towards the front that actually buckles/bulges out. Perhaps it is broken. Any ideas how to replace it. Do I have to take the whole assembly apart. Is it better to get a new assembly of ebay. Any ideas or suggestiosn will help.

I'm not observing any Passenger side 'cable' on the OEM part diagrams below (red arrow).
If one is present, it is likely integrated into the #9 sunroof frame?
A new sunroof frame my be needed.
Thank you for your reply. I have ordered a used sunroof assembly from ebay. As I was trying to diagnose it further, it seen to me that both cables that operate the sunroof are buckled. I figured it is easy just to replace the assembly rather than trying to fiddle with those cables. Took this time to run the cable for a dashcam as well.
