One really nice feature I spotted on the TLX is the multiple customizable shortcut options- ie short cut tabs for audio, climate, phone etc. To have say your six favorite music sources, six top phone numbers etc easily available on this screen would seem a real convenience. The only Honda that has this feature is the Odyssey but it is restricted to audio only - so you can have say your favorite XM, AM AHA etc station in one screen. Any one using it...and comments?

 

I use Shortcuts quite often. I like the Places tab where I can select GPS Destinations automatically.

Also, Climate I use to reset my AC after service or getting my car washed.

Audio is nice as well, but I wished it could go to USB and Pandora as well as the other options.

Don't use Phone much since there are a couple of other ways to access the phone.

Definitely a nice feature.

 

I wish you could access them from steering wheel control. I haven't gotten my car yet but you can't on my wife's mdx.

 

I can't say I've found a use for them yet, but maybe with more use or from reading others' usage, I may. I'm the only driver of the car and also only listen to SiriusXM and my USB drive at the moment. And I pretty much set the climate control to around 70 or 72 and leave it there.

 

Likewise, I am the only driver. I use places to plug in work, home and restaurants that I frequently go to. This allows me to see how traffic looks along the way on the GPS.

Also, when I get the car washed, the AC and radio station are usually changed off my standards. Short cuts is an easy reset.

Shortcuts definitely aren't required.

I wonder if you can access Shortcuts through Voice Control?
