I would guess a minimum of 10 years before this level of self driving cars can legally be sold, but the technology will be ready for mass production within 5-6 years.
The next feature to be added is the recognition of traffic signals and the ability to bring the car to a halt when ACC is on and the car approaches an intersection with a amber or red light.
