Raising Passenger Seat in 2017 TLX
Greetings,
I have a 2017 TLX 2.4L and am very pleased with the car. However, the passenger seat is too low for my wife to be comfortable. Does any one have experience with ways to raise the seat at least two inches and still keep the connections to the seat heater and the power seat controls active?
Thanks, Doug

Burning Brakes
If you figure it out, please let us know; it's been an ongoing concern for me with all 7 of my Acuras
I'm 6'0", & 168 lbs.; not exactly short, fat, or awkward
My only real complaint is that the A-SPEC seat back, does NOT raise up high enough
C'mon Acura; help us out!

We have a 9G Accord with the same problem. If you look at the 9G Accord forum on DriveAccord, you'll find that some have used shims at the front seating mountings to get another half inch or so of height. I've been tempted to try it on our Accord, but it looks like a lot of work.

Summer is Coming
Two inches??? That is a lot and probably voids the design of the seat mounts to keep the seat in place in an accident. It may also change the way a passenger may interact with the air bag. As annoying as it is I wouldn't mess with the seat rails. My wife is 5'3". It is low but she just deals with it.
