Paintless Dent Repair

Has anyone had experience with using PDR on the hood? Got hit with ice from the roof of a semi and it put a crease in the front of the hood. Another one hit the windshield, luckily no broken glass.
Thanks

While driving on the interstate I had an approximately 1-inch diameter rock hit my hood...maybe 6-inches from the front edge of the hood. PDR removed the dent in a few minutes. There was a scratch down to the metal in the paint remaining. But the dent was perfectly removed. Cost was about $100.

I haven't used PDR on the TLX but I had several dents removed from my wife's car and it was amazing. Even a fairly 'creased' dent on the front of her Civic hood. But the thing with PDR is not that is doesn't work, but that it is all in the hands of the guy doing it. It is a learned skill so if you get someone with no skill your mileage may vary. In the hands of an experienced PDR guy it can be amazing.

Great to hear. Sharp creases can sometimes be hard to fix!

Good tip for anyone looking for a PDR guy. Talk to local dealerships. They usually have one or more on speed dial for used cars coming in to up the re-sale value for cheap.
