Official acceleration numbers (Car & Driver)

Received my November Car & Driver today and they have a review of the TLX with acceleration numbers posted. First off, on the cover of the magazine, it says, "Acura Builds A Great Sedan (Again)". The article is quite positive overall. The last lines of the article are, "Meanwhile, hello, Acura. It's good to have you back in the game".

They list the 4 cylinder 0-60 as 6.5 seconds. They have the V6 model at 5.6 seconds. 1/4 mile times are 14.1 for the V6 and 15.0 for the 4. They list top speed on both models at 130 mph. I looked on their website for a link of the printed article so I could attach it here, but as of 5 minutes ago, the TLX review wasn't on their website, only in the magazine. I'm sure it will be on there soon.

Thanks, man!!!! :-)

C&D estimated 5.6 and 6.5 before as well (I suspected that their previous "estimates" were more than just wild guesses but now they are finally confirmed! YAY!) so I am thrilled that they are now official!

Again going back to what Matt Hargett said before, about the i4 being 1.5s faster than the TSX (making it 8.0s in this case), and the V6 being 0.5s faster than the 4G V6 (making it 6.1s), this is all very consistent.

These are great numbers indeed

HUGE UPDATE!! I apologize but I looked closer and the acceleration numbers are an ESTIMATE. I'm apologize for declaring these official. Mods, please feel free to scrap this thread as I would hate to cause controversy. In tiny print next to the numbers is a small "EST". Again, my apologies. I got overly excited seeing printed acceleration numbers.
