Things I love about it.
1. Super quiet cabin.
2. Power and responsiveness.
3. The 4 distinctive driving modes.
4. Most of all great power in a V6 that get great gas mileage. Went on a trip this weekend got 34 mpg hwy miles.
I usually average about 26 mpg combined.
5.I love this car.

that is some impressive fuel mileage! That is the kind of mileage i used to get with my civic and 1st gen Scion XB (were talking 1.7L and 1.5L engines)

 

Congrats on your TLX and welcome to AZ.. How long have you had your TLX?

 

VCM - 3 cylinder when under light load, presumably leisurely highway driving.

 

I'm still quite smitten with mine after two months!

1) Smooth ride - the ride is just perfect for me - not too Buick like and not too Ox-Cart like - just right!
2) Quiet cabin! Hardly any road or engine noise. I still get some wind noise but it's minimal and to be expected as you're hurtling across planet earth in a nearly two ton piece of machinery.
3) The Jewel Eyes headlights. Turning night into day!
4) The leather seats - very comfortable and I love the med setting for the heaters. A warm bum is a happy bum my dad used to always say!
5) Super Models - I've dated 3 super models since buying my car. Coincidence? I think not.

 

The end results is all that matters.

Congratulations on getting a TLX.

I enjoy my ride to work everyday, but it is more fun to drive home at the end of the day.

Agree 100%. This is the best car I have ever owned. It feels just right. Every single spec on this car is mid-grade but the combination feels just right for my needs. Cannot be happier!

 

And our little 4-banger isn't far behind. 40.2 mpg on one regular 192 mile stretch. The best our TSX ever did on that route was 34, and the TLX delivers 28 plus or minus in regular day-to-day driving. Very pleased. It's just that funky DCT and it's low-speed activities that we're not used to. (Hard shifts in slow traffic, pondering what gear to choose, etc.) Good job, Acura!

Comfortable, quiet car, excellent performance, incredible mileage. No big honkin' battery under the trunk or floor. I just have to take a breather on driving mine or I'm going to be way over on the lease mileage!

Oh, and it's not a BMW. Good!

 

I've had mine for about a month. LOVE this car. And even more than I'd loved my previous two Acuras (2004 TL, then a 2005 RL). The TLX is the right size, great driving experience, all the bells and whistles I could want. I thought I'd go for the Advance package but there were none on the lot, and I "settled" for the Tech. Could not be happier with my choice. Looking forward to many years with this beauty.
