Looks like I am staying...
Well after a great deal of agonizing over 19 TLX Aspec AWD vs. RLX Hybrid I opted for the TLX. If Acura had made the same improvements to the RLX head unit for the 18 as they did for the TLX it would have been a different outcome. Should the Type-S come out before this lease is up the money I saved on the TLX vs. RLX will be used to offset taking a hit on early exit of the TLX lease. Once I get it tinted and such I will post pictures. Picking it up Saturday AM. Modern Steel Metallic with Red Leather. Forst non Silver car I have had in over 25 years ;-)

I am sorry j/k
Congrats on the new car! I like the new direction Acura is taking with the RDX. I also share the same sentiment regarding the RLX. I can see myself drive the current refreshed RLX however my other complaint is its FWD standard. They really need to make it SH-AWD standard on the RLX.

Congrats. The MSM (we have it on my wife's car) is really very nice. Looks great when clean/detailed, but doesn't get dirty looking very quickly. It should really pop with the red A Spec interior.

Picked it up a few hours ago. I love this color combo. If you look at the back I have the dark for the TLX and SH-AWD. Some quick observations
- Seats are awesome
- suspension tuning seems really good
- Love Android Auto, it make sup for the crappy infotainment system
- Mixed on the piped in fake engine noise, I will likely look into disabling it in a few weeks
- 9AT ZF, well while it seems better than my 15 the lower shifts are still sluggish. Had they dropped in the 10AT this would be about as perfect as they could get right now.
It is a 2019 and I still got a decent (not great deal) with about $4300 off MSRP. The good news is I was able to roll over 15K miles from my old TLX so it helps the payment out a bunch. I will post a better reveiw in a few weeks and do more pics once the tinting is done. I am debating removing the Apec badges as this color combo with the dark emblems screams stealth.
I almost bailed on this at last minute and did the RLX hybrid, even took it for another ride, but while an excellent car it was a tad too soft for me.

We also put a deposit on a 2019 RDX AWD Advance for her in Silver/Espresso hopefully will have that in about 5-8 weeks. I almost caved in and got a A4, took one for a drive, the virtual cockpit is amazing and their heads up display is nice, but it rides a bit firm and choppy. I will give Acura credit for some amazing handling cars that handle and still product a comfortable ride.

thwnks, but I am likely taking them off, this color is very stealthy looking and the Aspec badges just are distracting to me especially with the dark TLX and SH-AWD emblems now.

Her lease is up so yes we will risk it, it is a lease so not too worried. I have done a few year 1 cars and most were stupid issues. Of course my TLX I missed the worst of the 9AT issue, but recognize it can be bad. The good news is she wants to buy the next one so that will be MMC time so when she buys that one it should be rock solid.

I am digging the look of this car. I am trying to get it tinted this week so I can snap some photos. I tall all 3 exterior ASPEC badges off today. Witht he dark TLX and SH-AWD emblems the only shiny object on the car is the Acura A logo on the rear deck. I wish they offered a dark version of that as with MSM, the Shark Wheels and dark emblems this car is so stealthy. It has been many years since I was so excited about how my cars looked. I loved my M37S and my A6, but I remember my 08 Type-S just loving the look. This car brings me back to 10 years ago and my Type-S. I can;t wait for the next gen TLX and a real Type-S again. Acura is back and headed in a great direction.
