I traded in my wife's '08 TSX 6MT Nav (82,000 mi.) this weekend for a 2015 TLX Adv model in Basque Red Pearl II/Parchment. Attached are a few pics to share with you. My deal was OK at best, nothing to shout about. $1000 was knocked off of the price immediately and trade-in was so-so - got $11,000 for trade. Was able to get the following included in the deal at no coast:
1) Tint
2) wheel locks
3) trunk tray
4) rear wing spoiler
5) splash guards
I must say, I agree with the majority of theowners here, this is a well-rounded, well-designed car. The ride is very nice, and compared to my RLX, I feel the TLX may be a bit more 'supple'. So far, I am very pleased. I did add the Acura Care 7/100/$100 deductible for $1400, just as a precaution. As we all know, it does not take long to run aup a $1400 repair bill at dealer.

Really is a sophisticated looking vehicle in the color combo. Excellent choice! My wife has long wanted a white car, so in order to facilitate approval of the upgrade from our TL Type S, I said she could pick the color, and BWP is what we went with. :-)

Thank you for your comments. The wife originally wanted a CBP/Espresso but could not find that combo in Adv model. She was very pleased with the Baque Red Pearl II color.

Congratulations! Thanks for the photos. The vehicle looks nice!!! Please give a report on the vehicle after you have had it for a few weeks, esp. on how it compares with your RLX!

With such a 'dark' color I had a clear bra installed today. I will be doing some hwy driving in this car so I wanted some form of paint protection to prevent nicks. A '06 black RL that I had did not have the clear bra and afte 72xxx miles it looked pretty beat up on the front and hood. I paid $445 for bumper, fenders, partial hood and mirrors.

Congrats on the new car.
I don't mean this to sound critical, it's just a question. Why do people buy an extended warranty when the car is new? The warranty does nothing until the factory warranty runs out and there is no advantage to buying it when you buy the car.
I know some folks will say it's so they can finance it, but why not just stick a $20 Bill in a cigar box every month. You don't event know if you'll still own the car.

Because it is cheaper to buy when the car is new than when it is 3 or 4 years old. The coverage is beneficial to a small group of owners and helps others sleep at night. The finance reps use the latter point to induce buyers to sign up.

To look at the tech features on this car, which how well they hold up is undocumented, and the thought of keeping this car for 7 yrs made it an easy choice for me to pay it forward on the warranty. Its a gamble but one I felt was an easy choice to make. the 3 additional yrs of warranty ($467/yr) will most likely pay for itself as technician hourly rates rise (now at around $150/hr). We each make our own decisions on what to do when presented with this choice. If I were to only plan on keeping this car 4 or 5 yrs then no I would not have gotten the extended warranty. Every car I have purchased in the past with an extended warranty has used what I forked out intially and then some.

My dealership offered me a 3 year extended warranty for $1,600. Don't think you can touch that once the car is nearly 4 years old with 50,000 miles.
