If there was any doubt that 5G is evolution of 3G..

Every time I look at the front of the TLX I see the strong family heritage to the 3G, truly stunning how similarly styled they are and the evolutionary update to the 3G the 5G is.

And even moreso the S with its forward slanted and meshed lower grilles. Sadly that, the side crease, and the short overhangs are about the only similarities...

True from the back it gets lost. I do wish they would have done this while maintaining the 4G overall dimensions. I liked the size of the 4G.

Wow that front end is much nicer looking than the new 5G! The 5G front end has that cobbled together look of the Wagon Queen Family Truckster.

I am glad that they did not keep the same dimensions, as I would not be driving one now.

I completely agree, 4G had a bloated look overall for my tastes...

TLX has a sleek design from front to back, love the single row of LED headlights which gives the TLX avery cool distinct look in my opinion.

the front and back alone I like the way it looks. Not sold on side profile, mostly because of crease coming from rear qtr panel. Just looks out of place. Acura needs to step up their stock wheel line up also. Since 2012 I don't know what they're thinking is behind base wheel set-up. Ugly

I am having an overall feeling of Deja Vu….again…
BTW, I like the classy yet sporty look of the current generation (combines the DNA of the 3rd gen TL and 2nd gen TSX…sort of.

Dimensions-wise, I don't understand why the front seat can't go back more than that.

Although I love the dimensions of my 4G, I'm fine with the 5G size. The problem I have is with the rear seat legroom in my TLX

3G is still the best looking sedan that Acura had put out.

rear end reminds me of the 3G TL and 2G TL mixed with a splash of 4G.

There is NO doubt that the 5G is evolution of the 3G.

If Acura released the TLX in 2009, I bet they would have sold a bunch of them regardless of the economy and tsunami.

I have a MMC 4G and like it for what it is. But I understand why people don't like the look of it. I recently bought a 3G TL for my dad and thought the car still looked so good after these years.
