I would have thought it would have been more. The reason I say this is because when I replaced my wife's ML with the Lexus (RX F-Sport) last year my insurance dropped $45/month. Was also considering an MDX at the time and the quote I rec'd was also around $45/ month less than the MB.
I questioned the insurance company because I wanted to make sure that all the coverages were the same. They told me that that although the MSRP's on the MB and Lexus were within $2,500 of each other, it is much less expensive to repair a Lexus or Acura than it is to repair any of the German makes from MB, BMW or Audi, which makes sense.
So today's the big day, enjoy!!

Traded the A6 at the dealer, he shopped it to a local Audi dealer. I bet I see it online within a week and with my wheels it will be easy to spot. Can't wait to see how much they pad the price.
