We have to be patient, with NSX and new style....I would say 2017 looks promising.

Welcome to the real world. Playoff games this weekend. Acura TLX TV add the guy with the keys repeating every day.
.
Honda institutional corporate feel good TV add. Honda featuring the NSX as the future, but they forgot to mention its an Acura

Could be it will be a super bowl add in in the rest of the world the NSX was a Honda?

Ford feel good add was a crappy one but it did have a FORD GT in it.

agreed with you bear, they need to show how much value the car has, instead of chasing after "ze Germans" a la, it's that kind of thrill.
That's exactly why I bought it, value and that it really is a great everyday car, but they are going to need to do more before Hyundai defeats them at that.

Honda is starting at the bottom with the new Civic. It's STILL a great value even compared to the Koreans, and it's sharper than the pedestrian Corolla. They just need to do the same thing with Acura.

Im not a fan of "shawd" on my trunk. If I personally didnt know what that meant I would assume its from a dealership or something that put there emblem on. Kinda just looks like the word shawd on my trunk. But hey, I do love the sh-awd system and what it does!

You can always debadge that particular badge. Or even the "SH-" part if you wanted to advertise it was still AWD.

I actually want the P-AWS emblem on my trunk! It's like $44 from the parts department though.

I take your point, but if you've driven any Korean sedans lately, you'll see that they have a ways to go before it gets to that point. They are full of "stuff," but the driving dynamics are just not there yet. Terrible modulation of accelerator, brakes, and so on.

That is in fact what I noticed and one reason I didn't buy a Genesis. Refinement from the engine was just not there, steering wasn't great either, and the handling didn't inspire confidence the same way the SH-AWD in the TLX does. It just felt sloppier, you know? In fact, so did the IS350AWD (screw you Lexus for not offering it in RWD in Canada).

Personally can't fault the Genesis R Spec 6MT coupe on the street. Had a chance to drive my grandsons new car for a week or so. Have never even sat in a 4 door Genesis so can't comment on them.

Its quick & agile, might be because the R Spec adds to all the other stuff:

348-hp 3.8L GDI DOHC V6 engine. 3500lbs is just shy of 10lbs per 1 HP

6-speed close-ratio manual transmission with carbon synchros

19-inch alloy wheels

225/245X40X19" Stagger summer extreme performance tires.

Track-tuned suspension and strut brace with low-velocity control dampers

BremboŽ braking system

TorsenŽ limited-slip differential

Front camber adjustment bolt

Black leather sport seat bolsters

Think its a nice buy for under the $30K MSRP.

He has an internship in Shanghai this summer, assuming no war, between his junior & senior year. I should have some time to play with it since it will be stored here

Since they poached the chief handling dynamics guy from BMW M group & lead designer from Audi I expect the next iteration of their cars will do very well over the road.
