A very positive review, must be the practical aspect that women seem to have, and she likes the hidden exhaust tips. Yeah, two thumbs up!

I know! Isn't it so interesting that women have such a different perspective - it's totally practical and down-to-earth!!! Very refreshing. I guess we really do not represent the majority of the car buying public here on these forums... LOL!

Women are practical and down to earth?

Any man living in NY, Miami, LA will vastly disagree with that....

I have been saying that all along.. the majority of TLs I see on the road are driven by women. When I was buying my TLX, there were a couple of women driving theirs away.

Liked the article, but #2 made me cringe. Family-friendly roominess and comfort are the fuuuuurthest things from my mind when I'm in my TLX. Yikes!

Well, she was right when comparing it to the 3 series, A4, IS etc... :-)

As with a number of other reviews i have read, what a relief to read a review written by someone who isn't half way up the a..s of the Germans and truly appreciates what this car has to offer. I get really tired of hipster dufusses who, may grudgingly admire aspects of the car, but make the usual hackneyed references to boring lines, lack of performance, the double stack, etc, etc, etc,. The are often the same guys that can't figure out how a push button transmission works or why you might want your map up while you are working with the audio screen/climate, etc. I often think many of their review are written before they even get in the car.

On a related note, today I noticed so many boring Camry white BMW 3 series on the road, with boring interiors, and blasé looks. Somehow, reviewers seem to love their appearance, but I strongly suspect that their reverence for the car would drop like a stone if the BMW badge was missing. Don't get me wrong, its a good car, but it does get the benefit of the doubt in many ways.

This has been posted previously in the Forum, but if you missed it, this is perhaps the best objective, detailed comparative analysis of the TLX i have read or viewed.

Funny, cause this very same reviewer calls the Camry "all kinds of Sexy". And a Toyota Sienna a "Swagger Wagon". Whatever the f8*k that means.

The 2015 Toyota Camry is just all kinds of sexy

The 2014 Toyota Sienna is a swagger wagon

People buy cars for different reasons. There's a good reason why the Camry is one of the best selling cars out there.

Interesting, I rarely see woman driving TL's (any gen).. Not doubting you just saying that over the years I would say that when I see a TL 95% of the time its a man driving.

Tuesday I had an ILX to drive for the day. FIrst time I drove one. Boy talk about no room in the car. It is tiny inside.

Compared to that, the TLX is very roomy

BTW, my very first Acura, a 2009 TSX was a Premium Pearl White, as nice a "whitish" colour as I have seen - it was more a creamy off white. They should go back to it.
