I noticed when my headlight is on, the light inside that arm rest compartment is also on. It is on constantly as long as my headlight is on, and it is hot. I have not try to open the light, not sure how other than pry it out. Do any of you guys notice that and replace it? If so, what do you guys recommend?

 

I've tried to replace it with an LED, I forget the bulb size, but the LED just wouldn't fit. I've left it alone since.

 

I just afraid of the heat issue and all. I do have some stuff in there, like some napkins, small note papers and such. I guess I'll just leave it alone. Thanks =)

 

Heat shouldn't be an issue as the cover blocks alot of the heat. Older cars have the same technology and I haven't heard of any fire issues due to the light.
