Anyone go from TLX to ILX?

I really like the look of the A-Spec ILX and I recently realized I have only used the rear seat on my 2016 V6 twice in 4 years and drive solo 90% of the time...Thoughts on this

I've had the ILX a few times as a loaner. It is a noticeable downgrade from the TLX in terms of refinement, luxury, etc. Honestly the ILX doesn't even feel like a premium car, let alone a luxury car. It didn't feel particularly premium when it was new 8 years ago, and it certainly doesn't feel any more premium compared to the modern competition.

You wont be happy

I used to work at Acura dealer and currently own 2015 TLX. You wont be happy going from a TLX (especially V6) to the ILX. Yes features are similar and such, but you wont get that quiet, solid, refined feel from the TLX

Going from the current Civic EX-L to an ILX could be considered a downgrade tbh.

If you don't need a rear seat get a used Accord Coupe V6

Huge step backwards imo. The ILX is basically a car from 2012. They really didn't change much, more refined sure, but it better be for a 9th gen platform I believe.

This would be a HUGE downgrade. The 1G TLX is much better vehicle overall than the ILX. ILX feels cheap and unrefined. ZF9 is so much better on the later TLX.

If you like A-spec, just get a late CPO 1G TLX. The ZF9 would be much smoother than your 15, with the premium fit and finish of the TLX (vs ILX) and the A-Spec look you like.
