It's not just you. I noticed it as well. They seriously could've hit a homerun by making that something like a bumper replacement instead of something that looks taped/bolted on. Even with the bolt-on look, you can see how aggressive it could've been.

It's not uncommon to be different colors the front bumper on my 4g didn't match the rest of the paint next to it

You got a hell of a deal if they really waived the taxes

V6 Tech on Dealer Lot - SOLD

The dealer closest to me website said they had 3 new TLX's in stock as of today (Friday 8/8), so I stopped by after work to see what I could find. There was one V6 Tech outside (photos below) - SOLD and then one V6 Advance in the showroom. I was REALLY surprised how much smaller the car is than my 4G TL - I think someone said it's an upgrade to the TSX and downgrade (EPA classification as compact) from the outgoing TL and I completely agree! There is a rubber strip between the front and rear doors which I thought was a nice addition for noise/vibration/harshness mitigation and overall this early one had great build quality. I don't like the wheels - the look like they belong on the 4-cylinder model.

Thanks for the pics, especially of the tire ! I thought the car is only 3 inches shorter and 1 inch narrower than the 4g, hmmm. I do know Acura wanted to let the RLX fill the full size slot by itself whereas the 4G overlapped it.

Nxtassy - thank you so much. Excellent photos with great detail. This helps my mom greatly as she's evaluating TLX vs Mazda 6 and Audi A3.
