I'll wait to reserve judgement for in person. Pictures all too often screw with the color.
Definitely the color combo I would get. Then I would add the chrome door trim.

Agreed about their waiting area and Irving location. As of today, those were the only 2 I think they had. The black copper had a "not for sale" or something stamp on its sticker. Maybe a demo or some type of training car. David McDavid said they were supposed to get some by the end of this week, so you may want to call and see if they have any in tomorrow or Saturday.

I'm still waiting to see some quantity of vehicles on their lots to check out color combos. The car's front end really did look a lot better to me in person than in pics. I just wish they could've made the car look a bit more aggressive.

** EDIT ** : according to their Twitter page, they've already sold one. Here's what looks to be a black copper pearl (?) from their twitter :

They have 4, but one was being sold today. I took a snap of the underside of the v6 Tech.

Yup, in fact the guy in the shop had assumed it was the SH-AWD but it was the PAWS stuff.

I took delivery of a V-6 advance tonight. The dealer only had one left which was not for sale.

I'm either going to buy at Acura of Jackson or Athens (GA) and neither of them will be getting one til at least the 20th, as per the sales manager. Hoping some generous folks here will throw up some nice pictures while I wait.

Congrats guys. This car is barely even out.. many dealers don't even have them yet... and there are already several owners here. Seems like this car will be a success. Can't wait to see and drive one myself.

The car drives really well. It is very smooth and you can def feel weight difference from a 4G TL. The new screen layout does take some getting used to. The brake hold function is a godsend in stop and go traffic.

I was really lucky cause I actually went to the dealer ready to preorder and car was literally off the shipment truck when I got there. I struck a deal right then and there.

Can you tell us what the deal was? I always thought that these early sales would all be MSRP.

That angle doesn't do any justice to the car. How did it look as you walked around it?

If he "got a deal", it was almost certainly on his trade in. No way I'm taking below MSRP if i'm a dealership and the reviews are so positive.

He said he "struck a deal" not that he "got a deal"

His deal may very well have been MSRP.

I think it's too recently released to expect anything under MSRP- as for the underbody kit, based on the angle of that pic above, I think I'd get mine without the kit- it doesn't look integrated (looks like an add on).

Purchased TLX

Purchased a TLX Advance, Graphite w/ grey leather. Should receive delivery within next 10 days. Test drove a V6-Technology on Tuesday. Impressed with handling. Not impressed with head room in rear seats. Anyone over 5'10" will have some difficulty getting into and out of rear seats. As I am usually alone in the car, not a big deal for me.

Do you have any pictures of the decklid spoiler? I haven't seen enough good pictures of it to decide if I'm getting it.

Yea I see it too. Most noticeably in the front. Body kit looks terrible if you ask me. They should have made it as a replacement bumper (integrated) rather than having it stick on top - looks cheesy/cheap IMO.

This has been discussed. I like replacement bumpers too but they'd probably cost an arm. They would need to work with possible headlight washers and sensors. Costly to produce, costly to buy. Would end up selling very very few of them.

I agree, that REALLY looks AWFUL. Looks like the kit comes with glue, cuz it seems to be all stuck on.

This is a nice car, but I bet there will be steep discounts as early as Thanksgiving/Christmas. I would never buy a car in the first 6 months after release while the mechanical bugs in production get worked out and the prices are highest. I bet a TLX base model could be had for about 27k by the end of the year.

I totally agree. This is a fantastic car, but buying the first few models is rarely a smart decision (both financially and in terms of reliability).

That bodyside molding is good to protect it from the clown cars when you visit the circus. It's to low to be of any use.

I wonder how much more expensive it would have been to just offer the car with these pieces molded into the original work and offer it as a higher trim "Sport line", rather than just tacking it on. Especially with how high the car sits...I think it would look so much better.

If I cross my eyes and make the image blurry, it looks like one mold, and appears a lot "sportier".

Deal was pretty much MSRP. Since I was the first person to buy it and the salesman went to my high school they waived the fees such as taxes and registration.

My dealer just got some V-6s in. No sign of the 4cyl. He says they're making fewer 4cyl initially, which is kind of a bummer b/c I feel like that will be the volume seller at least for me.

Hopefully they wont make the same color mistake they made with the 3G WDP where the rear bumper was a few shades off. And also when you installed the A-Spec kit on a WDP it would also be a few shades off. It was discussed and assumed that the issue was on the location of the cars lifetime as the sun and overall temperature would tone down the white colour. But since the TLX is barely out and having this issue, I think we should rethink the possibility of a factory issue with white cars.

Three V6 FWDs just arrived at my dealer. No 4 cylinders yet. I thought I read the 4s would arrive first, followed by the 6 FWD then finally the SH-AWD. Seems it's not playing out that way.

I was told that the 4's are supposed to arrive here first.. then the FWD 6's, then SH-AWD.. I changed my pre-order to the SH-AWD with Expresso.. was told it might be here in Oct.
