IMO, it's the 'leapfrog' effect. In fairness, it's already available on the TLX, but you have to go to the Advance to get it. The CR-V only offers it on the top line Touring model. I think I read somewhere, that to get a 'Top Pick+" rating, the lineup must offer active safety (among other things). I'm guessing that by making it available on at least one model (trim), they satisfy that requirement.

Do that every morning on the DC beltway (I 495).
