Video: Acura TLX and MDX Now in Kuwait | Acura Connected

The Acura brand is now offered in the Middle East for the first time through the newly opened AlMulla Acura dealership in Kuwait. The facility is said to have the largest Acura showroom in the world and consists of four levels: two basements, a ground floor, and a first floor.


AlMulla Acura has launched with just two models, the 2015 MDX and 2015 TLX. Their website lists the MDX equipped with SH-AWD, while the TLX is offered with FWD P-AWS only, with 2.4L or 3.5L engines.


Using the tagline “Super Handling is Here,” Acura Kuwait introduces the TLX and MDX in the two promo videos below.

What are your thoughts on this^^? Will Acura continue to emerge into additional markets?.. is this a sign of growth? Does this mean a larger product portfolio in the future to meet the needs of the additional markets?... hope for Acura in the future? Am I overanalyzing? lol

Offering a vehicle in multiple markets never hurts. Plus the car will be exposed to a totally different set of environmental circumstances which can only help Acura tune and make a more well rounded car.

It's nice that they are expanding.

Kuwait is a tiny country with shit ton of OIL. This place has OIL, and Money. Crap ton of Money, I suspect MDX will do well, but I cant see TLX doing too good. TLX is too boring and average for these people, They go thru BMW, Benz and Porsche like its toyota corola.

As far as SUV, V8 Landcruser has a stronghold of the SUV market in the region.

Nice Facebook page. The showroom is amazing. I would say the best Acura showroom I ever seen.

I am just not sure why they don't have RLX and RDX. I understand ILX is not that special.
